Nvidia is on an acquisition shopping spree
Today’s video is about Nvidiait’s (NVDA 6.81% ) recent stock price movements, updates on acquisitions and events investors should watch out for. Here are some highlights from the video.
- Nvidia will host two events on March 22 that investors should watch out for. The first will be its GTC Keynote, where CEO Jensen Huang will introduce Nvidia’s new products and technologies at 8 a.m. PT. The second will be his presentation at Investor Day at 10 a.m. PT.
- Even though the ARM Holdings deal fell through, Nvidia has already completed two acquisitions in 2022. In early January, Nvidia acquired Bright Computing, a leader in high-performance computing management software. In March, it acquired Excelero, a high-performance software-defined storage vendor. Both investments will add enhancements to Nvidia’s software stack solutions.
- Nvidia is transitioning from a graphics processing unit (GPU) company to a company that creates various semiconductors and offers many software solutions.
